A Japanese soaking Jacuzzi (ג׳קוזי), also called a Furo, is customarily created to be very deep and tall to make sure that the whole body will be submersed. It is usually made from wood and it has a rounded or squared feature. Some Japanese soaking tubs are made from granite stainless steel, acrylic glass, and tile.
Originally, a Japanese spa pool (בריכות ספא) is not really meant for bathing. It is traditionally just used relaxation purposes only. In fact, in a public bath, all those people who want to dip themselves in a tub, should clean their bodies before dipping into the hot water. This bath is called onsen in Japan. An onsen is an outdoor or indoor hot spring bathing facility in Japan.
It is customary in Japan that public freestanding soaking tubs are very necessary in people’s lives. It is a very important aspect of their everyday lives. People usually go to these baths to unwind and refresh their bodies. Plus, they believe that heated water, especially the water in the onsen, brings more than just relaxation. The hot water of hot tub (ג׳קוזי) is also believed to heal their body through the water’s rich mineral composition.
