Cleaning Jacuzzi

Your Jacuzzi is a worthy investment to the health and happiness of your family and friends. It is important to take care of your Jacuzzi just like you would a car. Here is how to clean your Jacuzzi. First and foremost your Jacuzzi (בריכות ספא) should be drained and cleaned every 3 to 4 months depending on how often you use it. Obviously the more use your Jacuzzi gets the more you should have it drained and cleaned. So if you and your family use it every single day, I would recommend you drain and clean your Jacuzzi every three months.

The first thing you do is drain your Jacuzzi. All Jacuzzis have a drain plug somewhere near the bottom of the Jacuzzi. However, using this method to drain your Jacuzzi can take a very long time. I would invest in a simple sump pump. You can pick one up at your local Jacuzzi store or any home depot or lowes. Hook your sump pump up to your garden hose, plug it in and drop your sump pump at the bottom of the Jacuzzi. Your Jacuzzi should drain in no time.

Once your Jacuzzi has been drained you can use a simple degreaser like 409 to wipe down the Jacuzzi. Make sure you rinse thoroughly because 409 and other degreasers can cause foam when swished around. Also check your local Jacuzzi store (ג׳קוזי לחצר) to see if they carry and Jacuzzi cleaners or Jacuzzi polish. Once you have completely cleaned your Jacuzzi you can now fill it back up and add your start up chemicals to get it up and running for use. It may take a while for your Jacuzzi to heat up, but when it does, it will be worth it.
